Service and Preventative Maintenance
BioSAFE provides ongoing service and preventative maintenance to support the long-term reliability of our worldwide installation base. Our goal is to maintain performance within design parameters, reduce unplanned outages, and identify developing issues before they affect operations or compliance.
Maintenance frequency and activities are based on system configuration, duty cycle, and operating environment. Inspections, testing, and calibration are performed with attention to both mechanical condition and control performance, with documentation suitable for internal records and regulatory compliance.
Programs are structured to be practical and predictable, supporting routine operation rather than reacting to unplanned downtime.
Validation and Commissioning
BioSAFE supports validation and commissioning for new installations, system modifications, and upgrades. Services are structured to confirm that systems are installed correctly and operate in accordance with design intent and applicable requirements.
Commissioning includes verification of mechanical and electrical, verification of control functions under expected operating conditions, as well as verification of performance to ensure proper biological efficacy for each system. Validation activities focus on confirming repeatable performance of critical parameters and generating clear, usable documentation.
The goal is to place systems into service with clear documentation of how systems perform and how that performance is demonstrated.
System Upgrades and Modernization
BioSAFE provides upgrade and modernization services for existing systems as operational needs, regulatory expectations, or support requirements change. Projects are typically focused on improving reliability, maintainability, or compliance without replacing entire systems.
Upgrades may include control system updates, instrumentation changes, safety improvements, or capacity adjustments. Each effort is evaluated in the context of system age, operating constraints, and lifecycle considerations. These upgrades are available for both BioSAFE and non-BioSAFE systems.
Work is planned to minimize disruption to ongoing operations and to integrate cleanly with existing infrastructure
HEPA Filter Maintenance and Validation
BioSAFE performs HEPA filter maintenance and validation to support both equipment and containment facility performance and regulatory compliance. Services are intended to verify filter integrity, airflow performance, and proper installation.
Activities include inspection, integrity testing, leak detection, and airflow verification, along with documentation consistent with applicable standards. Evaluations consider the full filtration system, including housings and related components, not just the filter media.
Routine verification helps ensure continued performance and reduces uncertainty during inspections and audits.
Panel Design and Construction
BioSAFE designs and fabricates control panels for use in all of our decontamination systems. Panels are designed to meet functional requirements while remaining straightforward to operate and maintain. BioSAFE’s Engineering team designs control panels and electrical systems in compliance with numerous worldwide standards such as; UL, CSA, CE, AS/NZS-3000, and many others.
Designs incorporate appropriate component selection, environmental protection, and clear layout. Panels are assembled using industrial components and tested prior to delivery to verify function and integration.
Panel solutions are developed to align with the specific application and to support long-term operation within the facility.
